The
Thai Inn
grew out of
George and Noi Guthridge's love of Thai culture, and their love
of entertaining guests.

Located
at the highest inhabited point in the city of Dillingham, Alaska, the Thai
Inn provides quiet, gracious, affordable accommodations a three minute
walk from downtown.
Unlike
some bed and breakfasts, guest lodging is completely separate from
the owner's residences. The building is very large (5200 sq. ft.),
with basketball and volleyball courts a stone's throw away.
The
guest house is a study in gracious Asian living. Much of the furniture
was hand carved in Thailand. Original artwork adorns the restaurant dining
room with a big screen TV.
Most of the rooms have small kitchenettes.
In
addition to the in-common amenities, each room has a private bath,
phone, cable TV, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
Free laundry facilities and freezer space
is also on site.
The Herman Melville,
Edgar Allan Poe and Amelia Earhart Rooms
have kitchens.
